Alexander Wood Alexander Wood (1817-1884) was a Scottish physician from Edinburgh, who co-invented the hypodermic needle with French surgeon Charles Pravaz. Wood's wife overdosed on an intaveinous dose of morphine delivered by Dr. Wood's fateful invention. <<< Back |
